WWF is ranked amongst the most trusted and admired NGOs operating in South Africa. This was announced at the Trust Barometer 2010 conference and awards ceremony hosted by research company, Ask Afrika, in Johannesburg on the 10th of November 2010. The research methodology focused on sourcing telephonic interviews from CEOs of the 200 largest listed companies in South Africa during May / June 2010. Each CEO was invited to spontaneously nominate the companies/organisations they most admire and trust. In the NGO category, the rankings were as follows: 1st -Nelson Mandela Childrens’ Fund 2nd -WWF SA 3rd -Cotlands 4th -Cansa 5th -Gift of the Givers 6th -Red Cross Children’s Hospital 7th -CHOC 8th -Greater Good SA 9th -Hospice I am very proud to be working for such an extraordinary organisation and moreso to know that we rank amongst equally extraordinary organisations in this category. We all contribute to a greater good out there and that alone is a beautiful gesture and wonderful achievement. The work we do really makes a difference.
