I will undertake the 900+ mile task of riding from John O'Groats to Lands End in 9-10 days. The aim is to raise awareness and profile of the fantastic work being carried out by Mike Denison and his amazing team of Volunteer Africa 32degrees South. I believe that every child deserves the same access to education which, with the money we raise, we can go some way to accomplishing. Could you imagine, when you were at school, not knowing where your next meal is coming from? Unfortunately that is the case for many children in the Chintsa area. It is from seeing these happy, smiling, engaging children singing to volunteers, like myself, to raise money for that simple essential of food, that moved me in a way to want to teach and to undertake this task. Having the right access to equipment is important in a child's education. Your money can be used to feed the children and aid their education, which has been proved to be a far more productive method of charitable aid. In terms of aiding their education, I propose that the money kindly given, go towards not only feeding the children, but also, if we raise lots together, installing the much needed ICT and connectivity facilities in the area. Imagine the children being able to follow my progress along the route. Thank you for your time and consideration of this most worthy appeal.
