TEAM PARDUS - WE RUN 4 MOM

This April, five members of the Pardus family will run the 127th Boston Marathon with Team End ALZ in memory of Marilyn/Mom/Grandma and in honor of Don/Dad/Papa.

We have each committed to run 26.2 miles and together raise $100,000 for Alzheimer’s.

The April 2023 Boston Marathon will be the one-year anniversary of the passing of our beloved Mom/Grandma. After a twelve-year battle with Alzheimer’s, Mom/Grandma left us last Marathon Monday with her beloved husband by her side.

In addition to being a patient wife, loving mother, and doting grandmother, Mom/Grandma was a trendsetter, starting the world’s first computer camp for young children and building a robust computer-training business. She possessed a quiet strength and a slightly mischievous nature...you knew she was always up to something! With a giggle and a twinkle in her eye, her laughter and warmth always filled the room.

Mom/Grandma's last years were a test, but she was supported and intently cared for by her high school sweetheart and husband of over sixty years. Theirs is a story of love and mutual respect, in sickness and in health. Our family has been blessed by the selfless love and support provided by her care providers we call "angels."
