My Story
On April 18, 2022, I will run the 126th Boston Marathon to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association. I run in memory of my dad, Hank Keohane, who we lost to Alzheimer’s and Vascular Dementia in August. Please see below for donating via DAF or check.
Marathon Monday was one of my dad’s favorite days of the year. For 50 years, our extended family has gathered at mile 12 to cheer on the runners. This year, a family high-five at mile 12 will mean everything to me. Those of you who knew my dad, know the importance he placed on giving back. I feel privileged to be able to honor him this way - by raising money for the organization that supported our family during our difficult Alzheimer’s journey.
I have set an ambitious goal of raising $50,000 to help fund research into the prevention, treatment and a cure for Alzheimer’s. I would be overwhelmingly grateful for your donation to this important cause in support of my run.
I run as the proud daughter of Hank Keohane. I run with gratitude for the love and encouragement of my family and friends. I run for the first survivor of Alzheimer’s.
Thank you! Suzanne
