The Web Foundation founderNtokozo Edward Ndlovu has a passion for working with rural communities andbreaking the current inevitable cycle of illiteracy. Ntokozo has somerefreshing thoughts on education, art and sports. He believes that the literaryskills are mistaken for bookish knowledge to satisfy the competitive world, buteducation should be holistic. He therefore believes in the power of goodstories. Having grown up in a poor family in a village in KwaZulu NatalProvince, eMpendle he understands the reality of their situation. Thanks to experiencedgained while working with Nhlamolo Development and Training NGO, inBloemfontein in 2006-10, valuable international philanthropists supported and encouragedNtokozo, who was working along with Mr Given Shingange they managed to transformthe lives of the community in Bloemfontein through various projects. Ntokozo isin the South African National Defence, you can see his profession gave him thechance to work anywhere. He made a conscious decision to volunteer full time towork with the rural schools in different communities around the country.
