Hi Friends and Family- I am thrilled to be part of the Mass Eye and Ear Team participating in the 127th Boston Marathon on April 17, 2023. This marathon is the tenth anniversary of the terrorist bombing where I almost made it to the finish line for Mass Eye and Ear. 

I am running specifically to support Dr. Chris Hartnick and his mission at Operation Airway which provides care for children worldwide who are unable to breath on their own. Here is a link which provides more information on Operation Airway.

I am personally indebted to Dr. Hartnick who cared for my daughter at Mass Eye and Ear where she received the highest level of care.

As I train for the Marathon I am reminded how grateful I am to breath fully without assistance and move my body (ever so slowly) in preparation for Boston in April.
