I spent most of last year battling a personal Mt Everest - breast cancer. After having a mastectomy, I underwent 6 months of chemotherapy and radiation and then further reconstructive surgeries.

NOW THE CHALLENGE IS ON!

This year in October I will be trekking up to the real Everest Base Camp and raising funds for CANSA to help more women SAVE SECOND BASE!

Because of the incredibly generous support I have had, my new target is R15,000.

You can either donate a fixed amount, or you can pledge an amount per 1,000m altitude and follow my progress up the mountain. Everest Base Camp is at 5,364m.

We all have women in our life who we care about and breast cancer can affect any one of them.
