My Story
I am very excited to share with you the news that I will be running THE 2022 Boston Marathon! Although it will be hard to top my first marathon, I have been fortunate enough to be chosen in the lottery to be on Team Framingham this year. I have become truly impressed and excited to raise money for Hoops and Homework of Framingham. I love to work with children through the volunteer work I do, to support their love of learning, social activities, and development of friendships. Hoops and Homework does all this and more.

Hoops and Homework is a safe and nurturing neighborhood-based after-school program which expands opportunities for youth in Framingham. A typical day there involves academic and enrichment services in a safe and fun learning environment which includes study time (homework, math games, reading, etc.), a healthy snack, an enrichment program (science or music), crafts, games, sports, and time to relax and even daydream.

I personally love that at Hoops and Homework, kids can just be kids, but can also be gently led to discover their potential. This is a safe space that nurtures the development of children in need, who are just waiting to be recognized so that they can build the confidence to make choices that lead them to be successful in life. Every kid deserves this much. Please consider supporting this remarkable charity as one of your first New Year’s resolutions!  Your support means so much to me, but mostly, to the children of Hoops and Homework. Thank you.
