"The Comrades Marathon is quite something to behold: the support, all the emotions experienced on the route & the camaraderie is something quite spectacular. The months of build-up, the early mornings and long, long runs all come together on the 4th of June and hopefully everything falls into place, well this is what I am hoping for.

This years theme "It takes all of you - ZINIKELE - " is a very powerful statement and the same can be said for me choosing the tackle the Ultimate Human Race on behalf of CANSA, because, yes one person can make a difference in any situation but it will take all of us to truly make an impact. Cancer is a disease that we have all been affected by, in some way or another, that is why I feel that this initiative is so important not only to me but to all of us. So join me in taking on the fight against Cancer!"
