This year I’ll be running the Boston Marathon in support of Tufts Medical Center. I am running for Team Tufts because of the amazing opportunities and connections that this hospital has offered to me. More specifically, the floor Pratt 8. I have been working on Pratt 8 for a full year now. Words can not describe the cohesion and knowledge that this floor brings to the table. The MDs,APPs, Nurses,Techs, UCs, and the rest of the staff amplifies a true demonstration of teamwork. I have gotten to learn the true meaning of patient care and how to advocate for patients from my co workers. If I ever have a question, the staff always does the best to thoroughly explain the problem and then teach me how to solve the problem. Having a comfortable atmosphere makes learning more accessible for me. The entire staff is truthfully one big family. There is no place I would rather be and no place I would rather work for.
