Hi! I need your help with raising funds for the National Sea Rescue Institute (NSRI) Water Safety Program. I am an NSRI volunteer at station 10 in Simon's Town and I am extremely passionate about saving lives and ensuring I do everything in my power to prevent drownings. In South Africa there are about 3 drownings per day which is 3 drownings too many. The Water Safety Program aims to educate people of all ages, especially children, with the skills to swim and to make sure they know what to do if they fall in the water; ultimately saving them from drowning. The Water Safety Program is spread countrywide, aiming to reach as many people as possible. I hope that my efforts and the funds raised will help to further this program by educating and saving even more people.
