It's a great honor to be chosen by Red Cross to run for their organization in the 2024 Boston Marathon! This dream has been 10 years in the making! In 2013, the Philippines, the country where I was born and raised, was devastated by Typhoon Haiyan. Red Cross came to the rescue with huge relief efforts to help the people of the Philippines. I'm grateful that during this crisis, Red Cross was able to lead the way in rescue efforts, tracing missing relatives and providing much needed International Response relief funds.

Donating blood has been my way of trying to give back to the community even though I truly dislike needles. For over a decade, I have donated over 5 gallons of whole blood and platelets to help those in need. And this year, with your help, we can make an even bigger impact by donating to an organization that has shown me what it means to be a humanitarian.
