I am honored to run the New York City Marathon on November 5, 2023, supporting 261 Fearless - a fantastic nonprofit whose mission is to empower all women through noncompetitive running. I was privileged to run on their 2022 Boston Marathon Charity Team - an opportunity I will always cherish!

It's hard to believe that I started one and a half years ago to run all six Abbott World Major Marathons after losing a loved one to cancer. I want to merge my passion for running and doing better for our communities. With your help, I was able to raise over $10,000 in support of empowering women through non-competitive running (Boston Marathon 4/2022- 261 Fearless Charity Team) and those with complex disabilities both blind and deaf live fulfilling lives (London Marathon 4/2023 - SENSE Charity Team).

Sometimes all we need is a little inspiration to get back on our feet to find our way; a conversation, a smile, a person, or simply a walk. That's why 261 Fearless's mission to provide accessible education and running opportunities for all women to discover their self-worth and potential and make choices to control their lives is so powerful. I know I have been a beneficiary in this life, and it's time to give back.
