I can't believe how incredibly lucky I am to get to run the Boston Marathon for Team Hoyt for a second year in a row. Running the Boston Marathon had always a goal of mine, and I finally accomplished it last year, but the most meaningful part of the marathon was putting my miles toward something extremely important and worthy - raising money for The Hoyt Foundation. Never have I been a part of such an inclusive, support, and inspiring group of individuals - everyone together carrying on the legacy and spirit of Rick and Dick Hoyt. I was able to see and meet some of the amazing people that benefited from the fundraising we did last year, and that in and of itself was enough for me to know that I had to run for Team Hoyt again and continue to support the amazing work they do in our local communities. So, I know it seems like we just did this, but I am asking for your help again to support The Hoyt Foundation. I am trying to raise over $8,500 so that The Hoyt Foundation can continue to help those with disabilities, while also training to line up in Hopkinton on April 17th and hopefully crush the 127th Boston Marathon! I can't do it without you and appreciate all of your support and well wishes. As I learned last year, it truly takes a village to get a charity runner ready for Boston, and I am so incredibly thankful that you are all in my village - You will all be with me in every training run, as I pick up my bib, as I battle the hills of Newton, and of course in the celebrations after the finish! So thank you from the bottom of my heart for believing in me, supporting this incredible cause, and donating whatever you are able to, anything helps!
