My Story
Welcome Everyone! First of all, I want to thank you for visiting my page and supporting Make A Wish and myself on the 127th annual Boston Marathon. I truly feel honored to be given the opportunity to run this year's marathon as a parent of a wish child myself. After everything that Make A Wish has done for my daughter and family, I would love to give back. My daughter Elivette was diagnosed with SLE Lupus at the age of 14. Suddenly in 2020 Eli’s health took a turn for the worse, after many hospital visits, overnight stays, procedures, surgeries and medications, Eli became eligible for a wish. Eli was deemed eligible for the wish during the middle of her treatments, needless to say it was one of the few things that brought smiles to the entire family's faces. Unfortunately, the Covid19 outbreak did restrict the wish granted process and our wish was postponed until June of 2022. Although, the wait was definitely worth it. Eli describes this wish as the best thing that ever happened to her and Make A Wish made every little detail of the wish come true. Now, after experiencing the joy that Make A Wish brings, my wish is to help other families feel the same joy and relief that I did during Eli’s wish. PLEASE help me reach my goal and make other children's wishes come true!
