They have made an immeasurable difference to a very special Superhero that we know and love, our very brave ring bearer - Nate Stone.

Nate was born with a rare congenital bladder disorder called Bladder Exstrophy. At the time of his birth, he was 1 of only 7 documented cases like his. He had his first major surgery at only 3 days old. Unfortunately he has since had a further 7 more surgeries for this condition, as well as some other complex conditions that have been discovered along the way. 

Thanks to the immense skillset, support and incredible people in the Surgeons For Little Lives team, this brave little boy has not only survived, but also thrived! Nate is an absolute delight and we couldn't be happier than to have him as our very own superhero ring bearer.
 
Surgeons For Little Lives does remarkable work to help many other children fighting rare diseases and needing complicated, life-saving surgeries, on a daily basis. This is a costly exercise however and funds are a constant challenge.
