My Story
The Daisy & The Duchesses of Hazzard
The Duchesses are entering their 11th Elephant Charge, in a green 1995 Toyota Prado named "Daisy", and since 2009 have raised a total of $53,828 for conservation in Zambia.
The Elephant Charge is a grueling race with endless Dust, Sweat and Gears. If you can, please donate to support wildlife conservation in Zambia (and support us in spirit!).
The Elephant Charge
Since 2008, the Elephant Charge has raised over $1.3m for wildlife conservation in Zambia and has created a unique event attracting interest from across the globe!
Up to 30 teams must reach 10 checkpoints at a secret location in Zambia's wilderness in the shortest distance, whilst raising much needed funds for conservation.
In the last few years, Africa has seen an unprecedented amount of wildlife crime, including the illegal killing of elephants for their ivory. Now coupled with the COVID-19 Pandemic and the resulting loss in funding, jobs and tourism, the challenge to protect Zambia's wild places is even greater. The Elephant Charge, its participants, the beneficiaries and organisers are all part of the fight against the threat, now you can be part of it too!
