I am running the 2021 virtual Boston Marathon® in October as part of Team JAF – a group of charity athletes training and fundraising in support of the Joe Andruzzi Foundation.

The Joe Andruzzi Foundation (JAF) is a registered 501(C)(3) non-profit organization committed to providing help, hope, and a reason to smile, for New England cancer patients and their families by contributing financial support when it is needed most.

JAF provides direct financial assistance through the distribution of grants and gift cards, which cover basic non-medical needs, including housing, food, transportation and utilities, that patients and caregivers impacted by cancer often find themselves unable to afford. We support patients in treatment with any type of cancer, at any age throughout New England.
I’m so proud to be part of an amazing cause with a team full of passionate runners – many of whom have been directly impacted by cancer. I will be running in memory of my sister Cathleen who lost her battle with cancer with 2013.
