On Monday April 17th, 2023, I will be running the Boston Marathon. This will be my third Boston Marathon and six Marathon’s overall. My most recent Marathon in 2021 was the Chicago Marathon, which unfortunately I was unable to finish due to medical factors. Since then, I have experienced various obstacles with running, resulting with difficulty to mentally get back to where I was. As running has always been my passion, I chose to run Boston again to assist in reigniting the spark and passion that running has provided me throughout my life. I’m taking part in Team Framingham 2023 to raise money for Hoops and Homework. This charity has consistently done amazing work for supporting and empowering the Framingham youth. As in my previous Boston Marathon I had the honor of raising for this charity, as they supported me as much as I was able to support them. This was one of the more memorable Marathons for me as it was during the extensive weather conditions to which I was able to perceiver despite these environment obstacles, again with the support of this charity. Because of this experience, this charity holds a special place in my heart. In addition to the support, they have provided me I have also seen firsthand the support and strength this charity gives to the youths of Framingham. It is evident that this charity is genuine and effective of providing motivation to all those involved including adults and children.
