If you know me, you will know my two passions in life are to save lives and to teach children to swim, therefore helping themselves save their own life should the need arise. 

It's Christmas 2012 and an SMS comes through. It's a call out - 7 year old girl is missing at 3 Anchor Bay. On Boxing Day, we found her but she had sadly left us. A drowning that could have been prevented should she had gone through the NSRI's incredible drowning prevention and survival swimming programs. 

For this reason, I am going to be doing a Robben Island Relay swim to raise funds for the NSRI'S Drowning Prevention Program. This is VERY close to my heart ❤  I would appreciate everyone's help in raising the necessary funds to prevent another drowning in our waters.
