The 29th Zagreb Marathon will hopefully take place on the 11th October 2020. Due to the COVID -19 pandemic many races are cancelled or postponed. In the middle of global pandemic crisis, Zagreb was also hit by a big earthquake that damaged or ruined lots of facilities including most of the hospitals. Now, we truly hope that summer will bring us new optimism and goals. While many of us are in quarantine you can make your training and races count by fundraising for our partner charity, INSPIRO, or for a charity of your choice! INSPIRO is a Croatian association for patients with transplanted lungs. Our goal after the earthquake is changed since rehabilitation is not possible if there is no Hospital in the first place. Now, let’s make a difference and join in fundraising for renovation of the Clinic for Lung Diseases Jordanovac that is out of function and needs capital rebuilding. We want to contribute through our actions in establishing the new hospital facilities and give our patients a chance to get a medical treatment as soon as possible. #buildzagrebhospitals
