Animal welfare has always been a cause close to my heart and this year I decided to embark on this fundraising initiative for the Sandton NSPCA. The Sandton NSPCA is located in Alexandra Township, Johannesburg. They rely entirely on the assistance from private donors and via fundraising. In 2013 alone, R300 000 worth of animal food was required and R550 000 veterinary costs were incurred. Besides helping animals in distress and re-homing, they also engaged over 19,000 children in 42 schools through their outreach education programme. They need our help! Please donate generously!
