Kayamandi Arts & Cultural Festival (KACF) was initiated in 2011, hosted in Kayamandi, Stellenbosch. Kayamandi is small township, just like any other township, it is faced with high rate of youth unemployed and other township landscape. Art is used as a source of inspiration and communication tool to the youth, with the hope to inspire the youth to unleash their talent and creativity. The Festival main aim is to showcase talent in townships. The festival has 7 main categories, namely; Music, Dance, Drama, Battle of the DJ, Kayamandi Beauty Pageant, Khayamandi Achievement Awards, and KACF Cup (soccer & netball). The festival is in competition format, encouraging everyone to participate, including neighboring communities
