I am raising funds for Wiltshire Air Ambulance
I’m on the pull... for Wiltshire Air Ambulance! At the beginning of 2023, I pledged to raise £1500 for Wiltshire Air Ambulance as my Charity of the Year. I am a keen runner and have raised thousands for charities running as Captain America. This year, I decided to make it a little more challenging. So, I am pulling a 1.5-tonne vehicle for 24 hours, and attempting to break the current world record of 51.5km (32 miles).Wiltshire Air Ambulance is a charity very close to my heart. They run a fantastic service funded solely by donations. If everyone donated just £2, I could easily smash my target. You can donate by scanning the QR code or visitinghttps://www.givengain.com/ap/mike-land-raising-funds-for-wiltshire-air-ambulance/Get your business involvedI'm also looking for corporate sponsors. Donate £150 (or more), and I'll add your logo to the record-breaking vehicle, literature and PR. I am raising funds for People against Poverty
In May 1993, I became the 6th person in the UK to be injured during a bungy jump.It was a charity event held in the car park of the Spotted Cow, Martson Meysey. The jump was from a crane cage suspended 170ft in the air.'My feet were bound, and a harness fitted around my waist. I said goodbye to my friends and I was hoisted into the air. As I prepared to jump...' the rest is a little hazy, but it involves the bungy rope snapping after the initial fall!Sunday 29 May, 2022 - Almost 30 years later, I am putting my fear of heights to the test by abseiling 100m off the Spinnaker Tower.I would love your support and donations as I take on this challenge, raising money for People Against Poverty and the amazing work they do.- to feed the hungry, provide shelter, clothe and educate the poor, take care of the sick and bring communities together to help break the cycle of poverty.- to form communities in the UK to engage with PaP.- to be a gateway directly enabling our communities here in the UK, to engage with our international communities bringing them both life-changing experiences.Every donation counts, so please click the donate button and show me your support.
