I have chosen to run the 2024 Boston Marathon raise money for Mass Eye and Ear (MEE). This non-profit organization is dedicated to restoring sight and hearing as well as treating a wide variety of medical conditions affecting the eyes, ears, nose and throat..I am specifically raising funds to support the hospital's Emergency Department (ED), where I have worked as a physician for the past 6 years.MEE has one of the last remaining 24/7 emergency rooms that focuses on otolaryngology (ENT) and ophthalmology (Eye)-related problems. This makes the ED a safety net for patients with a wide variety of problems for a wide range of socioeconomic backgrounds.
