3XRE (Simple Math)
3XRE (Simple Math) is a project that aims to raise environmental awareness in our community. With this project we plan to organize a weekly performances, events and various environmental campaigns to raise environmental awareness.
Young activists of the "Eco-Zadar" will present their knowledge and skills to the people in the local community.
The name 3XRE represents the first two letters of Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. If we would applie these 3 things in everyday life that we would live in a clean and safe environment.

FEEL ME, WALK ON MY LEGS
Dear friends,
We are a non-profit, humanitarian organization from Croatia. Our name is PINO, and we deal with the problems of movement of the persons with disabilities, who are confined to wheelchairs. In Croatia, although such persons have all possibe rights through the laws, the reality is sad, very sad. There are so many barriers, physical and psychological, in the streets, as well as in the minds. We cannot say which ones are harder to fight against...
We are trying to surpass those barriers. The project that we have just published is aimed to surpass the barriers in the minds and hearts of the "normal people", who, when seeing a person in a wheelchair, usually think: "Oh, well, he/she cannot walk, but is nevertheless well equipped to move around, just like us." And with that thought, his/her conscientiousness is satisfied and no more thoughts are dedicated to the subject.

Lice i naličje poroda
Udruga Roda ove će godine obilježiti Dan žena projekcijama filma The Face of Birth (Lice poroda) koje će se održati diljem Hrvatske. Do sada je dogovoreno da će projekcija filma biti u Varaždinu, Čakovcu, Puli, Rijeci, Zagrebu, Vinkovcima, Pazinu, Dubrovniku, Velikoj Gorici, Splitu, Zadru, Cresu, Poreču, Biogradu, Popovači, Pakracu, Čepinu, Daruvaru, Bjelovaru, Šibeniku, Dvoru i Kninu, a na ovom će se popisu zasigurno naći još gradova.
Ovaj australski film promovira pravo žene na odabir načina i mjesta poroda, ali i progovara o utjecaju intervencija na prirodni tijek poroda. Udruga Roda najveća je zagovornica poštivanja prava žena tijekom trudnoće i poroda kao fizioloških, a ne medicinskih događaja, koji će, ako se ne ometaju, donijeti neopisivu radost i snagu svima prisutnima i odagnati strah i sumnju koji su često prisutni u našim rodilištima.
Organizacija projekcije filma nije besplatna za našu Udrugu ali, kako mi želimo da bude besplatna za sve posjetiteljice i posjetitelje, počele smo prikupljati sredstva. Ako podržavate naš rad i ako se zalažete za slobodu poroda, donacija ovog projekta je jedan od načina da vaša podrška postane konkretna. Prikupljenim sredstvima podmirit ćemo troškove licenci za prikazivanje i prostora, tamo gdje ga nećemo moći dobiti besplatno. Prijevod, oglašavanje i organizaciju svih projekcija iznijet ćemo volonterskim snagama naših članica i članova i uz pomoć volonterki i volontera diljem Hrvatske.
