Crown Kilimanjaro Climb for CHOC
The Kili Crowners is a global team from Crown Worldwide Group made up of Andy Marshall, Audrey Muir, Chantelle van Zyl, Chris Davis-Pipe, David Lam, George Mathew, Jay Varghese, Kobus Jacobs, Nitin Alex, Norah Franchetti, Robin Swiegers and Stuart Mansbridge. We are undertaking an exciting challenge for the charity CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa, who work hard to keep hope alive for children who suffer from cancer and their families. Please help us to raise as much as money as possible to support this charity.
Our challenge involves climbing to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro via the Rongai route, starting on 17th July 2013 and taking six nights and seven days to reach the summit and then return to base camp.
Mount Kilimanjaro is situated in Tanzania, towers above the African plains and is the highest free-standing mountain on earth. It's altitude of 5,895m puts its ascent in a class of its own, providing a challenge to those who wish to climb her. And we are all up for and excited by the challenge!
