Tears of Hope: Supporting TEARS Animal Rescue
It's that time of year again! Time to pull out our sleeping bags and bed down with the rescue pups to raise money for TEARS Animal Rescue.This will be our 6th sleepathon and we're looking to repeat our incredible fundraising of ZAR 25,000 last year!!! AMAZING!TEARS is a wonderful organisation which rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes thousands of abandoned, abused and unwanted animals each year.It's no cheap task feeding, housing and supporting the wellbeing for each of these animals whilst they live at the TEARS shelter. It's that time of year when Justin and I roll out our sleeping bags and camp down in a kennel with the rescue dogs for a night to raise funds for TEARS Animal Rescue!For those that follow @bravingboundaries and @imaybecrossbutimnotangry on instagram, you'll know that Justin and I are the proud parents of three rescue dogs: Dudley, Roscoe and Charlie - all of whom were lost, abandoned and, in the little one's case, injured.Thanks to organisations like TEARS, abandoned dogs and cats like ours get the chance to be rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed. They get a chance to have a second and improved life and, I can promise you, they make our lives a lot richer too.Please help us to raise much needed funds for TEARS so that they can continue to perform the incredible work that they do. A Ruff Draw!
It's that time of year again, when Justin and I will pull out our sleeping bags and camp down in a kennel with the rescue dogs for a night to raise funds for TEARS! .This year has been tough for everyone. But particularly for organisations that rely heavily on the kindness of public donations. .This year, we are making a special request to our friends and family, colleagues and followers, asking them to donate a small amount towards TEARS - the incredible animal rescue centre in the Cape Town region which focuses on rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming hundreds of abandoned and abused animals..- ZAR 200 (USD12) - will buy health care and initial vaccinations to prevent sickness and disease.- ZAR 500 (USD30) - will help feed and care for a rescue animal for a month.- ZAR 1,800 (USD120) - will provide emergency vet care.And those are just a few of the examples of where your money will be directed..Quite honestly, any amount that you feel capable of donating would be so gratefully received and will benefit in more ways than you can imagine..Thank you in advance for your kindness and support! .Frieda & Justin (and our 3 rescues: Dudley, Roscoe & Charlie)
