Andrew's 12th 947 Cycle Challenge
This year I'll again be Riding for a Purpose and cycling the 947 Cycle Challenge for the Philile Foundation. Philile is a non-profit organisation that exists to transform the lives of children and disadvantaged communities in South Africa. They aspire to not only to provide quality education, but to see the physical, cognitive, emotional, spiritual and social development of children addressed, whilst also creating jobs by employing and training teachers from the local community.As a Team Philile member I have pledged to raise R3 000. My 9th Cycle Challenge - doing it for the Kids
Philile was founded in 2008 by Kaleb Willems with support from GodFirst Church. The first Philile pre-school was opened in Johannesburg’s inner city on the border of Hillbrow and Braamfontein. In March 2010 our second site was opened in Johannesburg’s Northern township of Diepsloot. Soon to come is Philile’s third pre-school located in the heart of Cosmo City.
