The world’s greatest ultra-marathon, 90 kilometres long, the Comrades is a South African institution, internationally recognised for the body-sapping challenge it poses & the camaraderie it fosters among its thousands of participants. Run between the capital of Kwazulu Natal, Pietermaritzburg, & the coastal city of Durban, the race alternates between the up run from Durban & the down run from Pietermaritzburg. I will be one of three runners that has offered to run the Comrades marathon on behalf of The Zach Foundation and all children who are fighting their own marathon against pediatric cancer. I would like to encourage all of you to sponsor me on this gruelling journey. Every sponsor will push me a little further and add some money to the plight of children suffering from pediatric cancer.
