KiC is expanding and needs to train volunteers to work in the court system. KiC started in the court to give support and advice to victims of domestic violence and other related crimes. Since then one of the major service providers for the courts in the South Coast region of Kwa-Zulu Natal has left, leaving the courts without any assistance with regard to diversion. KiC has had to take on this role in the meantime, and would like to continue to assist. We will be looking at volunteers in the areas the courts are based,(Scottburgh, Sowati, Umzinto, Hiberdene, Port Shepstone and Umzumbe).
