African Honey Bee's partner families often live in areas where water is very scarce. We have come up with a tower garden idea that only needs a dish of grey water (that they have used to wash themselves) each day - to water their vegetables in a tower garden.
We show our small-scale vegetable farmers how to make seedling shelves for replenishing their veggies once they are harvested.
Now that children under five can receive fresh vegetables each day, to eat with their pap, they have a better chance to develop mentally and physically, and do better at school.
Families are only given their first veggie seeds if they complete the training and actually build a veggie tower garden and seedling shelf out of scrap that they find lying around their homes.
