We see many animals through both our mobile clinics and our hospital at Head Office. We strive to provide affordable veterinary care to those who otherwise would have nowhere to take their animals. We focus heavily on sterilisation and responsible pet ownership. Often we get dogs in like Patchy and Max, in the photo, that require more extensive surgery. Being hit by motor vehicles is common in Western Cape due to the layout of informal settlements so close to busy roads. Both Patchy and Max are receiving medical care while staying with a foster family and will be up for adoption very soon. All funds received at ARO go directly towards helping animals in need. We are very excited to have Jay, Inge and Ivile from Activpayroll Cape Town,  fundraising for us in 2019 by doing the Impi Challenge, Knysna Marathon and bunge jumping!
