Since 1998, John Hancock has supported Mass General by providing invitational Boston Marathon® entries to athletes interested in running and fundraising for the hospital. The partnership has raised over $22 million to advance patient care, research, and education at Mass General.

Because of John Hancock’s generosity, Mass General received entries for the 2023 Boston Marathon. Runners are fundraising for Emergency Medicine, Home Base, and Pediatric Cancer:

Home Base; Healing the Invisible Wounds Of War
Funds support the Home Base, a Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital Program, is dedicated to supporting Veterans, Service Members and their Families through world-class clinical care, wellness, education and research.

Pediatric Cancer; Fighting Kids’ Cancer… One Step at a Time
Funds are directed to cancer care and research that lead to improvements in cure rates and enhance patients’ quality of life.
