My heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Mants'ase.
I am Lintle, a lady who as a little girl was cared for at Mants'ase Children's Home. I was adopted in 1992 by a family in the Mafeteng District. I really felt at home to an extent that I only knew when I was doing my form D that these people are actually my adoptive parents. There were situations that gave me a doubt that they were not my parents, nonetheless they helped me be the woman I am today.
Like a normal human being I had an urge to know about my biological parents/family. I then decided to go to Mants'ase to inquire about myself and a surname because I only knew that I was 'Katleho", since I now have new names from my adoptive family.
The trip that I made on the 28th of July 2019 to Mants'ase, after 27 years of departing from the home, became very fruitful as I was able to be reunited with my biological family on the 14th March, 2020. And I sincerely pass my heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Mants'ase Children's Home, they are doing their work with love.
Lintle is fundraising in support of our campaign. Thank you so much Lintle!
