The Pebbles Hemel-en-Aarde Education Project (HEAEP) opened in January of
2017 as a result of seed funding received from the Cape Wine Auction Trust.

The facility opened after a needs assessment showed that the community was
in need of good care and educational facilities that their children could attend
while they are busy working in the orchids and vineyards.

Since opening, the facility has grown to include a three classroom Early
Childhood Development Centre, and most recently the Pebbles Academy which is the first independent primary school under the Pebbles umbrella.
