O4LC (Oceans for Learning Challenge)
Are you disappointed that you can no longer run the Two Oceans?
Are you super bored and looking for a challenge to fill some time?
Are you still wanting to keep up your fitness levels up over the lock down?
Are you still wanting to connect with family and friends, even if virtually?
Are you wondering how you can still help a local charity during this COVID-19 lock down period?
Edunova has a super fun challenge for you …. Join us for the O4LC (Oceans for Learning Challenge)
We challenge you to run either:
- the 21km (Half)
- 56km (Ultra)
- 3km, 5km or 10km in your back yard.
You can either run solo or get your family & friends involved to run a relay version of the 21km or 56km events. You divide the distance up between yourselves, everyone runs their allocated slot, you then share the experience over social media.
There is NO ENTRY FEE and if you complete your chosen event then you will be able to earn a personalised virtual medal. You are welcome to make a donation toward our Educational work via Givengain.
Any funds raised from this initiative will go directly towards our Afterschool homework support projects in the Langa, Limpopo or Eastern Cape regions. This project allows Primary school children from the local township communities, Grades 4 to 7, to come to our learning centres on a daily basis, where we provide these learners with academic support, including homework tutoring, extension work and consolidation work. We also create a safe environment for these children after school whilst parents are at work.
