As the world reflects on Nelson Mandela’s legacy, we give thanks for his life, his leadership and his devotion to humanity and to humanitarian causes.
It’s time to get out there and do some good for the world. On MANDELA DAY and during MANDELA MONTH people are encouraged to spend at least 67 minutes getting involved in something positive for the benefit of their communities. It is to honour the 67 years that the late South African President, Nelson Mandela, spent fighting for social justice, equality and democracy.

67 Minutes might be enough time to do your own grocery shopping but is it really enough time to make a lasting difference? Not really, but wouldn’t it be great if what starts as 67 minutes turned into 67 days, 67 weeks, and maybe even 67 years of giving your time to serving those around you? Now that seems more in tune with Mandela’s legacy.

Unfortunately this year, due to Covid 19, we will not be able to allow any volunteers onto any of our shelter properties, and our Community pre-school. But you can still help us in many ways, and perhaps drop off your donations at our gate.
Here are some ideas of what you can do:

Donate to us: R67-00, R670-00, R6700-00......, 67 cans of food, 67 packets of macaroni, 67 bags of potatoes, 67 face masks, 67 pairs of socks.......
Imagine what a difference you can make!

Every little bit helps us to #BeTheDifference in the lives of those that need it most.

We can issue Article 18a SARS Tax certificates for all donations received.
