INVESTING IN A BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR SOUTH AFRICA:

Make A Difference Leadership Foundation (MAD Leadership Foundation) aims to provide access to quality education and leadership development opportunities by supporting high school learners and tertiary students comprehensively, throughout their academic and personal journeys, and ensuring they have the necessary tools and opportunities to reach their full potential as future leaders of South Africa. We focus on identifying talented
scholars, who do not have the necessary financial resources, and offer them long-term support in the areas of education, leadership, mentorship, wellness and life-skills development.

LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT THROUGH EDUCATION:

Since the beginning, Founder and Chairman Francois Pienaar has had an inspiring vision to provide educational access to deserving scholars with leadership potential (but who face economic and other barriers) through an individualised and personal approach. Therefore, MAD Leadership Foundation focuses on the whole individual, ensuring that our scholarship recipients not only succeed academically, but exhibit personal success and positive social engagement traits.

We believe that education is a lifelong gift that empowers individuals to improve their socio-economic condition, and therefore not only their own lives, but also
that of their families, their communities and future generations to come. As future leaders of our soceity, we want to see our scholars become recognised leaders who can lead with integrity in local and global environments. Through the comprehensive, personal and long-term support we offer our scholars via our Scholarship Programme, we aim to develop an alumni of MAD Leadership Foundation fellows who aim to invest back into South Africa and who will be a powerful force for positive change in their own unique way and leaders in their own right.
