LifeLine Western Cape was established in 1968 and is affiliated with 19 community centres across the country. Our diverse lay counsellors are trained and fully equipped to offer counselling on traumatic and other life experiences, including societal pressures, work and academic stress, domestic violence, rape and HIV. Our telephone lines are open 365 days a year to ensure that those lifelines are available to everyone who needs one. Our services are free, anonymous and confidential. Lifelines are accessed via phone, our newly-launched WhatsApp Call counselling service or face-to-face at our head office in Cape Town.

But to ensure that we can continue to provide these quality services to those in need, and launch exciting new projects in communities, we need financial support from the private sectors and individual donors. Our counsellors work on a voluntary basis, and all funds received go towards improving our services and expanding our efforts to reach and assist those who need it most.
