Denise and Carel were Donkey Ambassadors in Barrydale for many years, caring for their four donkeys and raising awareness. Denise became critically ill and asked us to give her donkeys a for-ever home. Eseltjiesrus incurred considerable costs in preparing a field for them at the Donkey Sanctuary, and organising and moving them safely just before Denise passed on. Help us to meet these costs and the on-going expenses of caring for Granny, Bakore, Sebastian and Ebony by donating in memory of Denise and honouring her commitment and passion for donkeys.
