Woodside Sanctuary currently provides shelter for eighty two (82) residents, twenty five (25) of these residents have no means of support and the Sanctuary has to carry the entire cost of their treatment and care. This includes providing for their every need such as feeding and nutrition, providing assistance with everyday tasks such as bathing, dressing, eating etc. We also provide various forms of therapy, as well as rehabilitation and stimulation programmes.

Your potential assistance will equip Woodside Sanctuary with the much-needed funds to continue providing a place of safety, holistic care and stimulation for the profoundly intellectually disabled orphans and vulnerable residents we look after. Each resident will continue to receive 3 fully balanced nutritional meals each day, they'll also be able to participate in our daily rehabilitation and stimulation programmes which include; Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Music and Movement Therapy, Remedial Teaching Programme, and special needs offering.

Profoundly intellectually disabled people require lifelong care, they will never be able to care for themselves or filter into normal society. This is an ongoing project and will require ongoing funding because of the service Woodside Sanctuary provides. Receiving ongoing support will allow us to have the means to continue providing our orphans and vulnerable with the nutritional, nursing, stimulation, physical and physiological care they need in order to reach their full potential and live rewarding lives.
