The effects from COVID-19 has created a secondary crisis in the underprivileged communities of South Africa. With one of the most stringent lockdowns in the world, more than 3 million people have lost their jobs and only source of income as business had to retrench staff and many having to close their doors permanently. For many families, their livelihood has been impacted to the point of desperation, with more children now suffering from hunger and malnutrition as a result. The relief efforts through food and welfare goods remain a critical need in these very poor communities. We aim to distribute 1 000 hampers to these destitute families and GIVE HOPE to those in despair this December holiday season as they gather together. YOUR contribution can provide food, sanitary and welfare goods to those most affected by COVID-19 and help us to give the GIFT of HOPE!
