Imagine walking for 75 minutes in the blazing sun ,bad roads and killing of people is high carrying a 25 container collect 25 litres of water for your grandchildren?This is the reality for many people in our rural areas and informal settlements.Meet Gogo Dlomo a 86-year-old grandmother from Majuba Nek,Eastern Cape. Gogo Dlomo was proud to talk about her community and her grandchildren that she looks after, daily.She was humbled that the HSiyakholwa Support care centre Mobile Team took time out of their day to chat to her about the challenges she faces regarding water shortages in the community✊

Malnutrition is devastating for children.
It contributes to 45% of under-five deaths . For those that survive, the long-term impact robs them of a healthy, productive future.
Already, 45 million children under five suffer from wasting (low weight for height) and close to 150 million are affected by stunting (low height for age) globally.
Malnutrition in infancy causes irreversible damage to children’s physical and mental development, undermining educational achievement and employment opportunities in later life.
This is why the Nourish Our Children programme aims to alleviate hunger in the lives of children from impoverished communities, and with your help with as little as R50 , food vouchers and foodparcels donations can provide a nutritious to one child for a month.
