Make a real difference and become a Jane Goodall's Roots&Shoots Hero
Jane Goodall's Roots&Shoots South Africa is a programme of the Jane Goodall Institute SA, a registered nonprofit.
Many of our programme participants are in vulnerable communities, and they and their families are experiencing extreme hardships during the current economic situation during the COVID19 lockdown. School feeding schemes that are an essential part of nutrition are not operational due to the suspension of schools, and many family members are not able to get an income at the moment. Our food gardens that provide assistance to these families are not accessible during this time to our beneficiaries, and we are not able to meet up with our groups on a regular basis.
We would like to be able to provide assistance to these families, including their pets, and any donation will be greatly appreciated.
Our team is focusing on 5 main communities.
