i4118 Foundation is a Christian faith based non-profit, non-government organization that strives to help children and teens overcome the harm caused to them by adults, helping them become Champions and Leaders of the future.

We are a registered Non-Profit Company (NPC) and Public Benefit Organization (PBO), that is volunteer driven and totally reliant on the generosity of individuals and companies, for financial support.

Where does i4118 come from?

It Comes from Isaiah 41 vs 18 that says;
I will make rivers flow on dry hills. I will make springs of water flow through the valleys. I will change the desert into a lake filled with water. There will be springs of water in that dry land. (Easy Read Version).

We believe that this verse reflects the transformation of the lives, of the children and teens, from broken and hopeless to ones filled with hope and life.

Our Mentorship, Camping Program and Monthly Activity Days can only be run through the generosity of people, volunteering their time to staff on camp as well as pledging to financially support them through financial and item donations.

Mentorship help children gain confidence and self-worth, enabling them to laugh, sing, and have fun. For many youngsters who are neglected or come from troubled homes, mentorship offers them a place of gentleness and peace – where Mentors care enough to listen to their problems and help them.

Mentorship is also the starting point where they are shown that not all adults are the same and that some can be trusted. It is where trust is built and opens the door for them and shows the children that where they find themselves in life is not the norm but there are other ways of living and interacting with people allowing the self-worth of the children to be enriched and their resilience built up.

The time spent on camp helps the children build a relationship with their Mentor and helps them realize that there are adults out there that they can trust.
