COVID has placed a huge strain on our educational system and schools and learners need all the support they can get in order to bridge the resultant learning gap.
Proceeds raised from this campaign will go towards purchasing 10 Raspberry Pi devices for disadvantaged schools in the Western Cape.
Raspberry Pi provides educational opportunities to learners. The device is preloaded with over 5000 e-books, educational software such as Khan academy, Scratch and an online Moodle platform. Each device will impact on approximately 100 learners. This content will help learners to improve their literacy, math's and science. Children will also be using the Raspberry Pi to learn how to code and thereby develop the skills necessary to problem solve, think creatively and critically - now a national requirement!
The more money we can raise the more Raspberry pis we can purchase and place in schools, the more learners lives we can impact. Each Raspberry Pi device costs R1,700.
Please help support us by sponsoring this campaign and supporting our cause.
