Support our Education Programmes

Did you know? About 29% of 13 year olds in South Africa are functionally illiterate? That the real Matric pass rate is closer to 39% rather than the stated 75%, when you consider all the learners that have dropped out of school before Matric?

That’s why we are passionate about improving education outcomes for learners from Grade 1 to Matric and giving them a chance to reach their true potential!

We would like to ask you to support our Education programmes. Your support will enable:

For 450 primary school learners in 3 local primary schools:

  • Daily nutritional meal after school
  • Weekly participation in a club for fun, team work and life skills. Clubs include a choice of marimba, dance, choir, science & tech, art and reading.
  • Annual outings and a Christmas party
  • A supportive environment through collaboration of principals, teachers, parents, child and youth care workers and a social worker
