That’s why we are passionate about improving education outcomes for learners from Grade 1 to Matric and giving them a chance to reach their true potential!
We would like to ask you to support our Education programmes. Your support will enable:
For 450 primary school learners in 3 local primary schools:
- An academic programme four afternoons a week. Focussed on literacy and numeracy at foundation phase and English, Maths and general homework support for learners in Grade 4-7. This includes face to face and online learning.
- Daily nutritional meal after school
- Weekly participation in a club for fun, team work and life skills. Clubs include a choice of marimba, dance, choir, science & tech, art and reading.
- Annual outings and a Christmas party
- A supportive environment through collaboration of principals, teachers, parents, child and youth care workers and a social worker
For 200 high school learners in 2 local high schools
- Academic tutoring 3 times per week, focussed on Maths, Physical Science, Accounting and Business subjects.
- Nutritional meal at sessions
- Bi-monthly life skills programme
- Career advice and mentoring
- Exposure to higher learning institutions & job shadowing opportunities
- A Christmas party
- A supportive environment through collaboration of principals, teachers, parents, child and youth care workers and a social worker
Your once off or monthly contribution will pay for:
- Salaries for our staff (programme managers, site coordinators and administrators)
- Stipends / transport for volunteer tutors
- Academic partners training, support, mentoring and assessments
- Materials and stationery
- Refreshments
- Outings, opportunities & events
- An annual Christmas party & gifts for every child or teen in our programme
