Earthchild Project has been working in local township schools since 2007. We are currently working in 8 schools reaching 3500 children on a weekly basis. Throughout the years, it has been an ongoing challenge not having our own space from which to teach our Programmes. Therefore, we have set a goal to build 3 Earthchild classrooms in our schools by 2023!
The intention is to create safe, peaceful and positive spaces for the children. The classrooms will be used every day for activities such as yoga classes, environmental education, holiday programmes and teacher training workshops.
These quiet, safe and beautiful classrooms will be a sanctuary amidst the busy and noisy surroundings... a space for children to connect to themselves, learn new skills and be inspired to dream big
