DOCKDA supports 14 Homebased Care Community Based Organisations with resources such as leadership development, skills training and donations of items such as sanitary wear, medical supplies, equipment and seeds for food gardens, stationery and school supplies. Homebased Carers serve rural communities in the rural villages surrounding Kuruman. These volunteers work with compassion and dedication to tend to the vulnerable in their communities offering primary health care and support to vulnerable children and households. The villages are far from the nearest town of Kuruman and have little access to health care and other services. Volunteers give generously from their hearts to care for others in their community and they give from their pockets buying food for the hungry and medicine for the ill. Help us help those that are always caring for others.
